Dear parents, 
Thank you for your interest in Maria's Montessori School! Established in 1989, we are the oldest Montessori School in Clovis. Every day, Maria's students experience an unparalleled education of the whole child. We respect individual differences, value partnership, seek cooperative approaches in our planning and problem solving, believe in hard work and aiming for one's personal best effort, and take joy in one another's success.
Research has shown that the best predictor of future success is confidence and a positive sense of self. Our carefully structured classroom environments, prepared by knowledgeable and dedicated teachers, provide self-directed, non-competitive activities that help our students to develop a strong sense of self and the confidence to face challenges and change with optimism.
Graduates of our program are unusually independent and intrinsically motivated. They have learned to work independently and in groups. Since they've been encouraged to make decisions from an early age, these children are problem solvers who can make appropriate choices and manage their time well. I am excited to offer you the opportunity to enroll your child in Maria's for an experience that has fulfilled so many families for over ten years.
